Hong Kong Disneyland – The first Disney resort built in China, Hong Kong Disneyland opened on Sept. 12, 2005 and has become one of the region’s top tourist destinations. The resort includes two hotels and recreation facilities and is a place that is uniquely Disney, but designed with local customs in mind. The park recently underwent a major expansion including the addition of three new themed areas: Toy Story Land (2011), Grizzly Gulch (2012) and Mystic Point (2013). Guests are now able to take flight with Iron Man at the first ever Marved-themed ride at a Disney park, and later this year, the resort will open its third hotel, Disney Explorers Lodge. Dedicated to the spirit of exploration, Disney Explorers Lodge will invite guests to leave the everyday world behind and enter into a new world full of discovery, nature and exotic cultures.
